An update on Fenerbahçe’s move for Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman has emerged.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Atalanta are yet to agree payment terms and conditions offered by Fenerbahçe for the Nigerian international.
Verbal agreement on €40m package for Lookman has been agreed, but not yet on payment terms and conditions.
Fenerbahçe will face competition from Atletico Madrid as the Spanish LaLiga club has been calling in the last hours to ask for deal conditions for Lookman.
Lookman came close to leaving Atalanta last summer, but ended up remaining at the Serie A club.
He was impressive for the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, tournament in Morocco, and it’s yet to be seen if he will leave Atalanta before the January transfer window closes this weekend.
