The names of three players former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti wanted the Los Blancos to sign during his time at the club have been revealed.

Ancelotti recently left Real Madrid to join the Brazil national team.

The Italian is Real Madrid’s most successful manager in the club’s history.

The former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain coach won 15 trophies with Madrid over his two spells at Santiago Bernabeu.

Ancelotti won five UEFA Champions League trophies with Real Madrid during his time at the Spanish LaLiga giants.

But he failed to win the Champions League, LaLiga or Copa del Rey in the 2024/25 campaign.

However, according to Diario AS, the 65-year-old wanted Real Madrid to sign the likes of Inter Milan’s Alessandro Bastoni, Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister and Benfica’s Alvaro Carreras when he was in charge of the team, but his request was not granted.

Ancelotti has since been replaced by Xabi Alonso, who last managed Bayer Leverkusen.
