Manchester United hero, Gary Pallister, has expressed doubts over the ability of Victor Osimhen to perform at Old Trafford.
Pallister said he has not seen much of the Nigerian international and is not sure how the Napoli star would fit in at Old Trafford.
He pointed out that the Nigerian player was linked to many top clubs last summer but ended up at Super Lig side, Galatasaray.
“I’ve not seen an awful lot of Osimhen, to be honest with you. It was a strange one, him going to Galatasaray, but he’s scoring goals,”; he told Metro.
“So many clubs were interested in taking him, but he ended up going there. That concerns me.”;
Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Arsenal were among the clubs said to have shown interest in the Nigerian football star last summer, but the Napoli star ended up being sent on loan to Galatasaray.
Napoli boss, Antonio Conte, who joined the club last summer, would rather have Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku lead his front line instead of Osimhen.
At this point, reports in Europe suggest that the Nigerian is seriously wanted by Galatasaray and Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.
Meanwhile, Manchester United seem more interested in signing Victor Gyökeres from Sporting CP, and the player is said to have told the Portuguese side he wants to leave this summer.
