Transfer: Scottish club, Heart set to sign Nigerian forward

Published on June 12, 2025 at 02:29 PM

Scottish Premiership club, Hearth of Midlothian are on the verge of signing Nigerian forward Uchenna Ogundu.

Ogundu impressed for Turkish second tier club Sanliurfaspor last season.

The 19-year-old racked up six goals and two assists for the modest club.

Hearts are weighing up an offer for the youngster, according to the Scotsman.

The Jambos will, however, need to present a suitable offer as Sanliurfaspor are not willing the player for a cheap price.

Ogundu joined Sanliurfaspor last August from Diamond Academy in Nigeria, making his professional debut in January.
