Transfer: Napoli in final stage to secure Højlund’s deal, Vázquez signs Leverkusen contract

Napoli are now in the final stages of securing the signing of Rasmus Højlund from Manchester United.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Denmark international will join the Serie A champions on loan with a buy option clause to become mandatory for a fee close to a €45m package.

A contract until June 2030 for Rasmus Højlund is waiting on exit terms agreement with Manchester United.

Meanwhile, former Real Madrid captain Lucas Vázquez has agreed on a two-year deal with Bayer Leverkusen.

The defender will sign a contract until June 2027 with the Bundesliga champions.

The 34-year-old is joining Erik ten Hag’s side as a free agent and the Spaniard has already done his medical.

Vázquez will sign his two-year deal with Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday.
