Major League Soccer club, FC Dallas have announced the signing of Nigerian defender, Sebastien Ibeagha.
Ibeagha, who linked up with FC Dallas as a free agent, penned a two-year contract with the options for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
The 30-year-old was part of the Los Angeles Football Club team that won the 2022 MLS Supporters’ Shield and MLS Cup.
The centre-back has played 94 games for three different MLS clubs including Houston Dynamo, New York City FC and Los Angeles Football Club.
Ibeagha also had loan stints with Denmark’s FC Fredericia (2014) and Iceland’s Fran Reykjavik (2015).
He comes in as a direct replacement for FC Dallas’ record appearance maker, Matt Hedges.
