Newcastle United striker, Alexander Isak’s career at the Premier League club is over.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Isak is adamant he will not play for Newcastle again even if the summer transfer window closes without him leaving Eddie Howe’s side.
Newcastle is not ready to sell the Sweden international but are exploring the summer market amid Liverpool interest in the 25-year-old.
Meanwhile, in another development, four clubs are currently battling in signing Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United.
As reported by The TouchlineX (via @lauriewhitwell), the likes of AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United are all potentially interested in signing Hojlund.
This comes after Manchester United recently signed Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig this summer.
Sesko, who joined Man United from Leipzig, named Zlatan Ibrahimovic as his Man United idol.
