Former West Ham star, Anton Ferdinand, has expressed surprise that Arsenal failed to sign Mohammed Kudus.

The Ghana international has been signed by Tottenham Hotspur, and Ferdinand believes the forward would have served Arsenal better than Noni Madueke.

The Athletic reports that all papers have been signed by Arsenal and Chelsea for Madueke to move to the Emirates Stadium on a five-year deal.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have completed the signing of Kudus.

Ferdinand told GMS’ Market Madness podcast: “He’d be on fire in the Arsenal team. I think he does better in that Arsenal team than Madueke and players like that.”;

Madueke has played nearly 100 games across competitions for Chelsea, scoring 20 goals and providing nine assists.
