Crystal Palace attacking midfielder, Eberechi Eze’s release clause has expired amid the ongoing summer transfer window.

Eze was available for £60m and £8m in add-ons through a release clause this summer.

But that clause has now expired after the start of the Premier League season on Friday.

The 27-year-old England international has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Tottenham this summer.

However, should Arsenal, or Tottenham, want to sign Eze, then the Premier  League clubs will now have to negotiate a price with Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile, in another development,
Manchester United, on Friday, confirmed that midfielder Toby Collyer will spend this season on loan at Championship side West Bromwich Albion.

Collyer joined Man United’s Academy in March 2022 and made 13 first-team appearances for the Red Devils last season.

The 21-year-old also made his Premier League debut against Liverpool last September.
