Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, has provided the latest update on Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo’s possible new club, Al-Nassr
Reports had earlier emerged that Ronaldo is close to signing for the Saudi Arabian club.
There are serious speculations that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is nearing an agreement with Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo, 37, is currently a free agent after his contract with Premier League giants Manchester United was terminated in November.
However, providing an update on Ronaldo’s situation, Romano, in a tweet via his Twitter account on Monday evening, said that documents are being checked, adding that Ronaldo is yet to officially sign the contract with Al-Nassr.
Romano tweeted: “Al Nassr official proposal to Cristiano Ronaldo is on the table, as called last week. €200m per year until 2025, but including sponsor deals. Documents are being checked.
“There’s still nothing signed, agreed or approved by Cristiano. Focus is on the World Cup.”
