Transfer: Dessers will leave Rangers — Martin

Rangers head coach, Russell Martin has confirmed Cyriel Dessers is on his way out the club.

Dessers featured as a substitute in the Light Blues Old Firm derby draw with Celtic on Sunday.

Martin confirmed after the encounter that the Nigeria international has played his last game for the club.

“Cyriel has probably played his last game for us,” the gaffer was quoted by BBC Scotland.

Dessers is expected to join Greek Super League champions, Panathinaikos on a permanent transfer.

Panathinaikos have reportedly agreed to pay €5m for the former Feyenoord striker.

The 30-year-old linked up with Rangers from Serie A club, Cremonese in 2023.
