Transfer: Besiktas confirm Ndidi’s arrival for medical

Besiktas have confirmed Wilfred Ndidi has arrived in Istanbul ahead of his permanent transfer to the club, DAILY POST reports.

The Black Eagles made the announcement on their official website.

“The professional footballer Wilfred Ndidi, with whom we have started transfer negotiations, has arrived in Istanbul to continue the talks and undergo a medical examination,” reads the message.

The Nigeria international is expected to be officially unveiled as a Besiktas player today.

The 28-year-old will put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Turkish Super Lig giants.

He spent seven-and-a-half years at Leicester City.
