Arsenal and Sporting CP have finally struck an agreement for the transfer of Viktor Gyokeres.

The Gunners will pay a fixed fee of around £55m (€63.5m) and €10m in add-ons for the striker.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Gyokeres’ agent agreed to waive a commission he was due from the deal.

Romano wrote on X: “The deal between Arsenal and Sporting for Viktor Gyökeres is now being sealed tonight with all parties involved.

“After agent’s decision to reduce his 10% compensation, Arsenal will pay initial fee worth €63.5m plus €10m add-ons being completed.”;

This means Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has finally gotten the striker he set out to bring in this summer.

Arteta was also keen on RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, but a deal proved difficult to do.
