Chuba Akpom has moved to Ipswich Town on loan for the 2025/26 season, DAILY POST reports.
Akpom is the Sky Bet Championship club’s sixth signing of the summer.
The deal includes a mandatory purchase option if Ipswich Town gain promotion to the Premier League.
Ipswich Town beat Birmingham City, and Middlesbrough to his signature.
Akpom has struggled since arriving Ajax from Middlesbrough two years ago.
The 29-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with French club Lille where he scored three goals, and registered one assist in 14 league appearances.
The striker is returning to familiar territory having played for Hull City, and Middlesbrough in the past.
He was top scorer in the Championship two years ago.
