A STAR of The Traitors was rushed to hospital following a terrifying accident with a kitchen blender blade.
, who shared the prize pot in this year’s series, told how she was even forced to undergo surgery following her scary domestic mishap and will now be bandaged up for 10 weeks.

, 43, who was selected as an original in ‘s hit programme, posted a series of bloodied images to her page with a warning for “squeamish” fans to look away.
She held up an image of her bandaged thumb and confessed: “There’s always one friend in every group that’s accident prone, that would be me”.
The Northern Irish lass then confessed: “Two weeks ago I had an accident with a blender blade which resulted in a trip to A&E.
“Yes I’m in flip flops and jammie bottoms as I ran out the door with a blood soaked tea towel wrapped around my hand”.

Rachel then told how she had an x-ray and stitches – but was concerned after suffering “severe pain and numbness” in her thumb.
After another trip to A&E she said: “Did a number on myself and completely severed my dosal nerve and partially lacerated my tendon’.
She had surgery to have both repaired at the same time – and then went on to showcase her “Harry Potter scar”.
Rachel posted a picture of the lengthy scar on her thumb and confessed: “I nearly passed out seeing this”.
She has now asked for a nude cast as she will be heading to the NTAs next month.
In her final image slide, she posted her bandaged up arm and wrote: “Cast is wrapped up safely for now but will be on for the next 10 weeks.
“Now accepting applications for temp chauffeurs.
“Life lesson – read the instructions on new kitchen equipment!”
Rachel, who by being part of the first pair to win the show with Stephen Libby in January, then posted in her caption: “Oopsie daisy.
“Everyday’s a school day!!! The lesson learned in this little bump in the road…..take the time to read the instructions on a new kitchen blender.
“A big thank you to the medical staff who looked after me over the past couple of weeks. You are absolute angels”.
On the show, Rachel and Stephen stuck together from the beginning and will share the prize pot of £95,750 after managing to see off every Faithful in a thrilling final.
Rachel and triumphed in the deciding showdown after remaining Faithfuls Jade Scott, Faraaz Noor and Jack Butler were banished.
It was an amazing turnaround for Rachel after she was almost voted off on the penultimate day.
