THE Only Way Is Essex star Junaid Ahmed has revealed a ‘serious fallout’ with co-star Lauren Goodger – as fans claimed his ‘true colours’ emerged.

The long-running reality show – which launched in 2010 – began airing series 37 earlier this month.

Junaid, 31, joined Amy Hart on the official podcast this week, with the latter standing in for Billie Faiers.

Amy began by saying: “Junaid, Lauren seemed a little bit upset that she found out after Ella. Did that cause issues for you?”

Teasing what’s to come, the star explained: “Me and Lauren actually have quite a serious fallout on the show.

“It was really just so sad. I think since then, we have been so conscious of one another, with our friendship.

“That we’d never want to go back to that place ever again.”

Junaid added: “Since Albania, we’ve been amazing. Me and Lauren now laugh about it.

“It was such a sad time – I was so upset, she was so upset, we genuinely thought it was going to be the end of our friendship.

“Thankfully, we’re so stronger than ever now.”

However, some fans writing online weren’t too impressed with Junaid, as one penned: “He jumps ship everytime something else comes along.”

Another commented: “Lauren stood by this man though thick and thin.”

While a third penned: “Lauren was the only one who stood by him, he needs remember that.”

The Sun told how Junaid and co-star Saffron Lempriere after his proposal on the cast trip.

After the proposal, Joe and Junaid celebrated with an engagement party but some of the cast were not happy and left early, according to sources.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Junaid said: “This series there is a lot of love, there’s an engagement, a baby, but there is a spot of chaos, anything to do with me is always going to be a bit chaotic.”

Junaid continued: “The engagement went terrible, the actual night when we announced it to the cast.”

A source told The Sun: “The cast were very much divided over Junaid and Joe’s big news, some of the stars decided to end filming early and head back to their hotel room instead of staying to celebrate the engagement.”
