A POPULAR swimsuit model has left fans a heart-breaking message before tragically dying just five days after announcing her retirement.
Once listed among the top 100 bustiest celebs in the world, 27-year-old Aoi Fujino told fans she was stepping away from public life on December 31.

In a mournful message to her supporters, she said: “This is my last message to all Aoi Fujino fans”.
“I really loved you. Thank you so much for everything up until now.
“Please remember me once in a while. Lol.”
Just five days later, mother confirmed her passing.
In a statement to the public, she said her daughter had been “fighting an illness”.
“[She] passed away on January 5,” she wrote.
“We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who took care of her during her lifetime.”
Originally from the, Aoi had been diagnosed with a rare malignant tumour called rhabdomyosarcoma three years ago.
The – who was considered an idol in her home country – suspended her career to focus on treatment.
In August 2024, she returned to work for a short time, however stopped working again just six months later due to health problems.
Throughout 2025, she attended a few photoshoots and meet and greets with her fans.
Aoi appeared in a 2022 list of the Top 100 big-breasted actresses in Japanese media.
Prior to her death, she told her 70,000 Instagram followers: “As long as people remember that beautiful and energetic me, I will be very happy and feel extremely blessed”.
Tributes from fans have flooded social media, where they have shared their shock and sadness.
“How very sad! Fans will never forget her,” one person said.
“May her soul rest in peace,” another mourned.
One follower said Aoi had been: “Loved by everyone, she is a proud daughter of her mother”.
“I’m sorry for your loss! 27 years old still can’t hide my upset at dying too young and too soon,” another said.
“You fought hard until the very end. Rest easy my friend,” they added.
