And fans won’t have to wait much longer as the series returns to ITV2 and ITVX on April 26 at 9pm.

Swapping glamourous Essex for the tourist hotspot in Southeast Asia, the gang reunite, but things quickly turn to chaos.

Expect a string of rows, emotional highs and lows, surprise arrivals and a shock departure.

A source said: “There will be plenty of drama, some unexpected feuds and tempers will flare and reach boiling point.

“If you thought the previous cast trips were fiery, then you’re in for a big surprise.

“Loyalties will be tested and it’s going to be a rollercoaster for some.”

The first episode does not disappoint with screaming matches kicking off on day one.

It’s anything but plain sailing for Diags and Jodie, who split last year but rekindled their romance a few months later.

While Diags tells Dan at the pool bar that he thinks Jodie will be fine with
him going out, Jodie confides in new besties Joe, Junaid and Freddie that his late nights are becoming a problem.

Tensions boil over that evening when Jodie is left waiting alone for Diags at dinner.

But when he finally shows up, will Jodie tell him how she really feels?

Meanwhile, Ella decision to consider making peace with Freddie sets off a chain reaction in the group.

When Dani makes it clear she won’t sit through any Freddie-slander, she
clashes with Livvy, ending with Dani storming off in fury.

The group have barely unpacked and the cracks are already showing.

But it’s not all drama, as Jordan Brook and celebrate their gender reveal back in Essex.

And Ella and Dan come face-to-face for the first time since Christmas, but both insist they can just be friends.

But will it take they be able to control their undeniable connection?

Rebecca Kenny-Smith, Creative Director, Unscripted, Objective Entertainment said: “ never fails to surprise, and series 37 is no exception.

“Alongside the iconic moments and unpredictable confrontations fans know and love, this series goes to some genuinely unexpected places, featuring some of the most emotionally gripping footage we’ve ever put on screen.

“Our cast wear their hearts on their sleeves, and watching them navigate heartbreak, drama and their own vulnerabilities with such honesty makes for unmissable television.”
