Instead, ITV2 viewers can anticipate fiery fallouts, explosive meltdowns, and chilly confrontations, all in true TOWIE style.
We can now confirm that a brand new cast member is joining the show.
Freddie Bentley’s sister, Emily, will be making her first appearance in the festive episode.
A source shared: “Freddie is thrilled to have his sister join him on TOWIE.
“Emily will be a fantastic addition; she’s vibrant, full of energy, and a genuinely lovely person.
“She’s already familiar with many of the cast members and has seamlessly integrated into the group.
“It feels like the perfect time to welcome another Bentley into the mix.
“Freddie has been a significant character on the show, and it’s only fitting to introduce some of his family now.
“Freddie recently had a falling out with his best friend Ella, so having Emily at the Christmas reunion is just the support he needs.
“Emily and Freddie share a strong bond, and she’s always there for her brother.
“She’s made a remarkable impression, and if everything goes well, she’ll hopefully return in the future.”
The Sun has reached out to representatives for TOWIE for comment.
Emily enjoys a glamorous lifestyle, frequently sharing photos of her luxurious holidays around the globe.
Also appearing in the festive special is Amy Childs' brother, Will.
Another insider mentioned: “Will will be back for the Christmas special.
“It’s always wonderful to have family members of TOWIE cast join the show, and Will has been a fantastic addition.
“He’s been popular with the ladies, so let’s see if he receives a kiss under the mistletoe this year.”
The Only Way Is Essexmas returns for a special 90-minute episode, airing at 9 PM on Monday, December 8th, on ITV2 and ITVX.
While there will be some intense moments, there will also be plenty of festive cheer as some of Essex’s beloved couples reunite.
However, it’s not all seasonal joy and goodwill, as Freddie and Ella’s previously strong friendship has deteriorated.
When the former best friends encounter each other at a Christmas market, will there be peace, or will tensions rise?
As the Essex crew gathers for their festive dinner, the drama is served hot, alongside several meltdowns.
Tensions flare between Amy and Joe as they confront their issues after months of jabs at each other.
Jordan and Sophie are stronger than ever, Diags and Jodie are looking forward to their future, and Joe and Junaid’s relationship is thriving.
Meanwhile, Sammy and Elma come face-to-face for the first time since the former Love Island star began dating influencer Ella Burke.
Elsewhere, Harry and Freddie are set for a final showdown, promising fireworks to come...
Rebecca Kenny-Smith, Creative Director of Unscripted at Objective Entertainment, stated: “This is a spectacular Christmas special to celebrate our 15th anniversary.
“The extended episode is filled with heartwarming and jaw-dropping moments, featuring unforgettable surprises that capture the magic of the season… some Christmas wishes truly do come true.”
