TOTTENHAM resume their pursuit of Europa League glory when they host Frankfurt in the first leg of their quarter final on Thursday.
Tottenham vs Frankfurt preview
It's their last chance to salvage the season and bring that second-season trophy Ange Postecoglou always delivers.
And there is a real argument to suggest overcoming Bundesliga's third placed Frankfurt would reinstate Spurs as the competition's favourites.
They go into the game having won just their second game in seven but their only defeat in the last six at home came against Manchester City.
Spurs have also scored eight goals in their last three home games, potentially highlighting a return to the free-flowing, attacking football that they've been unable to achieve with their injuries this term.
Frankfurt arrive here having thumped Ajax 6-2 on aggregate in the previous round and are flying high in third spot in the German league.
But defeat away at Bremen at the weekend won't have done them too many favours in the race for Champions League, nor with belief heading to London.
They'll also have their work cut out, given an almost perfect European record for Spurs on home soil, winning 15 and drawing three.

He's had spells like that this season where he's waited ages for a goal and they've come along like buses.
Also done well in this competition, scoring three goals in eight appearances in the competition.
