Multiple intelligence sources have confirmed to Zagazola Makama that a large number of notorious bandit leaders are currently holding a high-level meeting deep within a forest west of Kaura Namoda Local Government Area in Zamfara State.
According to a reliable source familiar with the development, the meeting is taking place at the residence of a traditional Fulani leader, known locally as the “Sarkin Fulani.”;
The location is described as a remote enclave within the forest, heavily guarded and difficult to access.
The gathering is said to involve commanders from various armed groups operating across the North West region, including Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, and parts of Kebbi State. The source described the meeting as a strategic assembly intended to strengthen coordination among the different factions, potentially in preparation for renewed attacks or expansion of their criminal activities.
