TOMMY FURY seemingly isn’t fighting any time soon.

But he’s keeping himself fighting fit with yet more extreme running.

The cruiserweight has seemingly developed a passion for distance running over the last two years.

Last year, he took part in the Great North Run – where he as he hurtled towards the finish line.

dusted off his running shoes this past weekend for the Wilmslow Half Marathon, where he set a new personal best over 13.1 miles.

And the 26-year-old was proud as punch with his performance.

He shared a series of snaps of himself from his race, including a photo of his finisher’s medal, to his Instagram page on Monday.

His accompanying caption read: “Back with another sprint finish of course.

“1hr 32 half marathon, new PB🏃.

“Sitting at 98kg and just really enjoying the running right now.

“Love finding different ways to challenge myself!!!”

Fury, the younger brother of former two-time heavyweight champion , has been doing a good job keeping himself in shape with his distance running.

But he’ll be hoping to enter a proper training camp with a view to fighting soon.

He hasn’t fought since his in Hungary last May.

But he could soon be on the cards.

He told Raceday RTV at Cheltenham: “I’m feeling fit, should be in the ring very soon.

“Hopefully get a big fight out there very soon.

“We’re rolling on this year. I’m always in full training but it’s a bit more intense than it usually is.”
