FORMER tennis star and TNT Sports pundit Laura Robson is the latest addition to a host of big names running the London Marathon.

Sunday’s race will feature some huge names from the world of sport.

, 32, retired from tennis in 2022 after competing at the highest level since being a teenager.

She was Junior champion aged just 14 in 2008 then teamed up with to win an Olympic silver medal in the London 2012 mixed doubles, still only a teenager.

The left-hander reached a high of No27 in the world rankings a year later but saw her playing career derailed by various long-term injuries – requiring two wrist surgeries and three hip operations.

When doctors told her a comeback was off the cards, she retired in 2022 – three years after her last professional match – and is now a regular on TV screens for the biggest tournaments.

She has also branched out to sports other than tennis as she covered the this year and was reportedly interested in doing last year.

The star’s latest challenge will be the gruelling 26-mile on Sunday.

She is running for Give It Your Max, a small tennis charity that do free lessons in schools as well as breakfast and after school clubs for kids picking up the sport for the first time.

Robson will be joined by other TNT pundits such as cricket legend Sir and former snowboarder Aimee Fuller.

Cook returns to the marathon for the second year in a row after competing in 2025 alongside fellow legend Sir Andrew Strauss – they ran to support families facing the death of a parent from cancer.

Strauss tragically lost his wife Ruth, the mother of their two sons, to cancer in 2018.

The ex-England captain and four-time winner will once again run for the Ruth Strauss Foundation – this year alongside his brother.

Former Olympic snowboarder Fuller returns to the marathon after running it in 2019 – she is a pundit for covering a range of sports.

There is also a host of other big names running the London Marathon on Sunday.

Four-time title-winning defender is making his debut.

The former captain is running for charity The Forward Trust, which he chairs.

He’s running to raise vital funds for recovery and rehabilitation services that help people break cycles of addiction and disadvantage, following his own battle.

Another former Arsenal player making his debut on Sunday is Aaron Ramsey.

The three-time winning ex-Wales international is running in support of It’s Never You, a charity dedicated to helping parents of children with cancer.

Formula 1 legend will take to the track on foot for the first time after retiring in 2022.

The four-time world champion will run for the Brain & Spine Foundation and the Grand Prix Trust.

Finally, legendary jockey AP McCoy is also running his first ever London Marathon.

The 20-time Champion Jockey and winner is running to raise funds for the Matt Hampson Foundation.

Former rugby ace Matt will be completing his marathon in his wheelchair after a horrific scrum collapse in 2005 left him paralysed.
