Tinubu to embark on one-day visit to Katsina

Published on April 30, 2025 at 02:25 PM

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled for a one-day working visit to Katsina State on Friday.

Dr. Bala Salisu-Zango, the State Commissioner for Information, announced this during a press briefing on Wednesday in Katsina.

He revealed that the President will inaugurate two key projects completed by the administration of Governor Dikko Radda.

These include the Eastern Bypass, which spans from Dutsin-ma Road, through Kano and Daura Roads, and concludes at Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area.

Additionally, the President will commission the State Agricultural Mechanization Centre.

This will mark President Tinubu’s first visit to Katsina since he assumed office in 2023.

Salisu-Zango also highlighted that the visit will provide an opportunity for the state to address some of its pressing issues, particularly security concerns, with the President.

He urged residents to turn out in large numbers to welcome the President and to remain law-abiding during the visit.
