A MAN has reportedly been hospitalised after “jumping into a tiger enclosure” during a “serious incident” at a wildlife park.
The male was allegedly pounced on by one of the big cats in Yorkshire Wildlife Park, according to reports.

Some eyewitnesses at the zoo have even claimed to have heard shots fired at the tiger enclosure, reports The Star.
These sounds were believed to be gas canister and tranquilliser darts being fired with at least “five shots” reportedly heard.
The park has confirmed it has now closed and visitors have been told to leave.
Yorkshire Wildlife Park also confirmed it would be closed tomorrow.
Eyewitnesses have also claimed they saw a black canvas up around the enclosure.
A huge police and paramedic presence has been spotted at the site.
An air ambulance was also pictured landing nearby.
Yorkshire Wildlife Park has posted a statement on their website: “We can confirm that a serious incident has occurred today at the tiger enclosure.
“Our emergency response procedures were immediately activated, and emergency services are currently attending the scene.
“We are working closely with the authorities to ascertain exactly what happened.
“The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, staff and animals remain our highest priority.
“The park is now closed and will remain closed tomorrow.”
South Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
