THE Traitors fans are convinced one contestant is ‘doomed’ on the show – and it’s all down to the return of the iconic shower scene.
Matthew was seen lathering up under the water in his room last night – and eagle-eyed viewers believe this is a sign his fate is sealed.

Each episode, contestants are seen doing various activities in their bedrooms while the Traitors discuss who to kill in the turret.
And every series, one star – usually a buff, hunky male faithful – is shown soaping up in the shower to titillate viewers – but longtime viewers believe that, if history is anything to go by, this usually means they will soon be murdered or banished from the castle.
On the first season of Traitors, was in the shower but he was later murdered in episode three becoming the second player to leave the show.
During series three of The Traitors, Freddie Fraser was initially a faithful before he was recruited by Charlotte Chilton.
The cast believed the traitor was a man and he was ultimately banished after his steamy shower scene.
A third viewer said: “We’ve been given the shower scene in for Matthew. He’s being murdered tonight and I won’t be convinced otherwise.”
Another fan said: ” Uh oh, the doomed shower shot. I fear Matty is going to die before becoming a traitor.”
A fourth viewer said: “Matthew so desperate to become a traitor has no chance these two just want murder.”
Whether Matty meets his maker soon, only time will tell, but regardless of the outcome, many viewers were simply delighted to see him the steamy sequence return to their screens.
One fan raved: “FINALLY a shower shot. Thank you thirsty producers.”
Another said: “Showing Matthew in the shower was absolutely unnecessary … but absolutely welcome.”
When he’s not impressing viewers with his buff physique, Matty left fans gobsmacked last week when he offered the traitors a deal to seduce him and murder fellow faithful Jessie.
The hunky Irish lad has been wildly unpredictable throughout this series after pitching his bombshell plan to the traitors.
The TV personality was one of three contestants who won the opportunity to talk to via a confessional box in the church.
Matthew used the second of his two questions to put in place a devious plan to seal his future in the show.
He asked the Traitors to murder Jessie next – then seduce him to join the Traitors at the next opportunity.
