We know you want to get straight to the stories that matter to you. That’s why ‘My News’ is evolving into ‘For You’ – a completely new personalised section, specifically for you. You can even set it as your homepage.
A new floating switch at the top of your screen lets you toggle instantly between the day’s ‘Top Stories’ and your personalised ‘For You’ feed.
A Fresh New Look & Feel
Finding your favourite topics will be faster than ever. We’ve replaced the old menus with a simple menu (those three lines in the bottom right corner) to help you discover everything from and to and from wherever you are in the app.
Top 5 Things to Look Out For
- Personalised ‘For You’ Feed: a section that learns what you like to read. So less scrolling through stories you don’t want and more of the news that matters to you.
- Breaking News Banners: Keeping you in the know on the biggest stories as they happen.
- Commenting: Simply tap the comment icon at the top of articles to see what other readers are saying, join the conversation and connect directly with our journalists.
- Saved Stories: See a story you love? Tap the star icon to save it to your personal library and read it whenever you have a spare moment.
- Card Swipe: A new way to showcase our stories and find more of the content you love.
