SMASH-hit US show The Pitt is set for a UK release, with fans able to stream the drama in a matter of weeks.
The hospital series was released in the US last year and has already won multiple awards, with viewers praising it for its gritty realism.

Withlaunching in the UK next month, viewers will be able to stream the first series of the HBO original drama from March 26.
Set within the US healthcare system, The Pitt follows the challenges faced by frontline medical staff, with a cast led by former ER star Noah Wyle.
Each episode unfolds in real time, covering one hour of a single 15-hour emergency department shift at the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital.
The format has been compared to Kiefer Sutherland’s hit series 24 or Adolescence, due to its continuous real-time style.
While the hospital itself is fictional, the show takes its name from its Pittsburgh setting, with “The Pitt” being a nod to the city.
The series has already scooped major awards, including Outstanding Drama Series at the 2025 Emmy Awards, while Noah Wyle picked up Outstanding Lead Actor.
The show also features exstar Zack Morris who plays student Jackson Davis, a patient brought into the hospital.
Zack, who played Keegan Baker in Eastenders for five years between 2017 and 2022, said it was surreal to work with a Hollywood star like Noah.
“So I got to see him do everything. He even got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame while we were there,” the 27 year old said, adding:
“And he handles it all with such grace. There was no ego.
“On my third day of shooting, the producers from HBO came on set and announced we had been nominated for 13 Emmys.”
Ahead of its UK release, there were reports of impatient fans resorting to piracy to catch a glimpse of the much-anticipated show.

The show has already filmed its second series which is set for release in the US this year.
HBO Max will also host the return of Euphoria, House of the Dragon and The Comeback, alongside the forthcoming television series and new DC Studios drama Lanterns.
Award-winning films such as One Battle After Another and Sinners will also be available to stream.
The platform will offer four subscription plans, starting from £4.99.
