THE 1% Club wiped out 10 players with an ‘easy’ question leaving host Lee Mack shocked.

It was a rare occurrence on the ITV programme as the 90% question – regarded as the most simple – knocked the 10 players out in the first round.

It seemed that 30 seconds on the clock was not enough for those to logically work out the correct answer.

Lee read out the ‘easy’ question to the players, saying: “Logically, which of these children’s characters could be included in this sequence?”;

He then read the sequence which consisted of “Humpty Dumpty, Tinky Winky, Andy Pandy.”;

The 100 audience members were then presented with two options – Postman Pat or Incy Wincy.

But whilst the pattern may seem obvious, for 10 of them, they were none the wiser.

With ten players wiped out, it was up to Lee to reveal the correct answer.

He told the contestants that Incy Wincy would be the only plausible answer as a result of it continuing the rhyming scheme pattern.

Contestant Sharon Swift got the question wrong and told Lee just exactly how the gamr crumbled so quickly for her.

She said to the host: “I put Incy Wincy as he is a spider and the rest are all sort of people.”;

Laughter rang out among her fellow players, with Lee then quipping: “Hang on, the rest of them are real people?

“Apart from the fact, none of them are real people – I don’t think any of them are humans in fact!”;
