Tess Daly Unveils Exciting New Career Path Following Her Departure from Strictly, Inspired by Ex-Husband Vernon Kay

SHE stepped down from hosting Strictly Come Dancing last year.

Now it appears that TESS DALY could be quickstepping onto the airwaves.

I can reveal that Tess has met with bosses at Magic Radio about hosting a show.

A source said: “Tess is loved by millions of Strictly fans across the country.

“She has a trusted voice and bosses are keen to give her a prime slot at the station.”

Meanwhile Tess could be on the radio at the same time as her ex-husband Vernon Kay, who presents the mid-morning show on BBC Radio 2.

I have also heard that Tess recently met with former Strictly It Takes Two host Fleur East, who hosts the Breakfast Show on Hits Radio.

Bauer Media Audio UK has recently poached a string of BBC talent.

Zoe Ball was announced this month as a new weekday presenter on Greatest Hits Radio.

She will join fellow ex-BBC talent Ken Bruce and Simon Mayo at the popular station.

While Tess hasn’t hosted a radio show before she has nearly three decades of experience presenting telly.

Her first TV break came in 1999 when she hosted Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast’s Find Me A Model competition.

She later hosted NTAs coverage for ITV2 in 2002 before taking over from Ulrika Jonsson as presenter of ITV makeover show, Home On Their Own.

Years before her impressive career on screen, Tess, at age 17, was scouted by a model agent while mooching around outside a McDonalds in Manchester.

The mum-of-two graced the cover of over 20 magazines and jetted off all over the world for glam shoots.

Tess and her ex-husband Vernon announced they’d parted ways on May 8.

The couple said their decision to split after 23 years of marriage had “not been an easy choice”, but came “from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire for what is best for both of us”.

They have remained good pals and have even been spotted together at events.
