TERENCE CRAWFORD showed his class after his stunning win over Canelo Alvarez by giving his newly acquired belts back to the former undisputed champion.

And moments later, he returned to the media tent to give back his belts – new ones of which he’ll receive from the sanctioning bodies in the coming weeks.
The pair exchanged words and had a warm embrace before going their separate ways.
And before he left, Crawford made sure to high-five Canelo’s daughter, Maria.
Crawford was full of praise for Canelo after the final bell, saying: “I’m not here by coincidence.
“Canelo is a great champion, I have to take my hat off to him, he’s a great competitor and I have great respect for him.

The Omaha native added: ” I won the championship rounds, when he was the champion. I knew I had to close out the show.
“I can’t get a better ending that tonight, this is the top of the top, Canelo was the last one, there are no more Canelo’s.

A dejected Canelo said: “I’ve done so much in my career, and all my life I’ve taken risks.
“I’m glad to share the ring with great fighters.
“I’ll always take these risks because I love boxing.”
