COURAGEOUS SIOUX (5.25 Bath, nap)

Has a lot of bottle. Clive Cox’s filly has made a bright start to her career with wins at Nottingham and Southwell. They both came over 5f but this slightly longer trip should be ideal and the handicapper hasn’t gone mad with a 4lb rise.

CHANTER LE BLUES (2.05 Bath, nb)

Looked a nice prospect when finishing third on debut at tricky Windsor last time out. She looked green as you would expect before staying on nicely enough. She comes from a nice family who have had plenty of success around this distance and should show a lot more.

LADY OF CLOVER (5.00 Southwell, treble)

Didn’t quite last home when still running well over two miles here 16 days ago. The drop back to 1m6f looks a wise move and he should be right there again under a capable 3lb claimer.
