COPS have arrested a man after reports a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in the kitchen aisle of an Asda store.
A hero female shopper jumped is said to have confronted the suspect during the incident inside the busy supermarket.
Officers rushed to the shop on Asdale Road in Wakefield at around 3.45pm yesterday.
The force confirmed a 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of sexual assault.
He was also arrested for an alleged assault of a officer.
Detectives are now trying to track down the woman who confronted the suspect to help with their investigation.
