A TEEN boy has been seriously injured by two dogs after they escaped from a house in a UK village.
Emergency services raced to the scene in Potterne, last night after the 14-year-old was mauled in a horror attack.
The shocking incident happened at around 9.30pm on Thursday after the pets escaped a nearby property, reports Wiltshire 999s .
Paramedics rushed the teen boy to as armed cops fought to bring the animals under control.
Wiltshire seized both dogs as they were carted off in the back of a van and taken to secure kennels.
Their owner is reportedly due to be interviewed under caution with the breed of the dogs yet to be confirmed.
Devizes Neighbourhood Inspector Simon Garrett said: “We appreciate how horrendous and distressing this incident must have been for the victim, his family and those who witnessed it and we are taking it very seriously.
“The two dogs involved have been seized and taken to secure kennels and their owner has been identified.
“Enquiries are ongoing to understand the full circumstances of the incident.”
