A TEXAS high school teacher has been arrested after a probe revealed a highly inappropriate relationship with a former student.
Holly Adams was taken into custody after a student told school staff that she had been engaging in despicable behaviour.

The student claimed the victim had called him from a bedroom in Adams’ home and the bed was covered in nude photos of her, KTRK-TV reported.
Another image allegedly showed Adams and the former student cuddling.
Adams reportedly invited multiple students to her home to perform chores.
She even allegedly admitted to speaking with three members of the school baseball team on Snapchat.
The twisted act is said to have occurred in August 2025, two days after after the sheriff’s office served a search warrant at Adams’ home.
Investigators supposedly seized four cell phones, 11 nude photos and a photo album of nude photos.
The educator has since been charged with one count of tampering with evidence and two counts of purchasing alcohol for a minor.
The sheriff’s office declined to say what evidence Adams was tampering with.
However, she is yet to be charged with improper teacher-student relationship.
Attorney Jed Silverman – who is not representing Adams – said it is possible that other charges could follow depending on what evidence detectives find on her phone.
He said: “What the search warrant does is it gives the police officer, law enforcement permission to get into the phone, and it takes a little while.”
Gail Saltz, professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College, said female teachers who abuse male students sometimes convince themselves the relationship is legitimate.
“They’re more likely to be psychologically both grooming their victim, but also what’s called self grooming,” Saltz told Fox News Digital.
“They are convincing themselves that what they are doing is having an intimate, romantic relationship that is benefiting the victim as well.”
Saltz continued that the damage done to the male students is just as damaging as female victims.
“It is easily as damaging in terms of, you’ve been abused by an adult. And that adult took advantage of your trust,” she said.
“That violated boundaries that you weren’t ready for.”
In the immediate aftermath of her arrest, Adams was taken to Brazoria County Detention Center.
She was released on a $26,000 bond the same day.
A spokesperson for the Angleton Independent School District told Fox News Digital her employment had been terminated.
