A FORMER substitute teacher and her boyfriend have been charged with allegations of sexual abuse of a child and possession of child pornography.
Madison Paige Jones, 30, was apprehended in Midlothian on December 19 after authorities accused her of committing a series of disturbing crimes.

Officers from the Midlothian Police Department were dispatched on December 17 to look into a report of a potential sexual act involving a child.
Jones is now facing one charge of aggravated assault of a child, two counts of indecency with a child involving sexual contact, and one count of possession of child pornography, according to authorities.
She was booked into the Ellis County Jail and is being held on a $90,000 bond.
Police confirmed that Jones had previously worked as a substitute teacher for the Midlothian Independent School District in Texas.
However, investigators emphasized that the alleged offenses did not occur at district schools and did not involve any students from the district.
District records indicate that Jones worked only four days as a substitute in the past year.
She spent one day at Heritage High School on November 19 and three days at Baxter Elementary on October 28, October 29, and November 3.
Upon learning of the allegations, the district acted swiftly to distance itself from Jones.
In a letter sent to families, Midlothian ISD confirmed that she was no longer employed.
“Our district process for monitoring employee criminal history functioned as intended, and we were notified quickly by the DPS,” Midlothian ISD told CBS News.
“The substitute teacher is no longer employed by MISD, and the district adhered to its required reporting procedures with the Texas Education Agency.”
Days following Jones’s arrest, police announced that a second suspect had been taken into custody.
Zackery Dondlinger, 37, was arrested on December 23 in Loving County as part of the same investigation.
He has been charged with sexual performance by a child, police reported.
Dondlinger is currently being held at the Winkler County Detention Center, where he awaits arraignment.
Authorities confirmed that Jones and Dondlinger were in a dating relationship at the time of the alleged offenses.
Police have not disclosed further details regarding the nature of the accusations.
The investigation is still ongoing.
Midlothian Police stated that multiple agencies collaborated to locate and arrest Dondlinger.
