DARTS’ European Tour continues in Basel this weekend with the Swiss Darts Trophy – and there is a handsome cash prize on offer!

This is the penultimate tournament before we reach the season-ending European Championships, in which is the current champion.

is the top seed heading to Switzerland this weekend – the world No2 has already won once on the continent this year with his triumph at the Belgian Darts Open.

Cool Hand is also coming off a huge win at the World Grand Prix last week, where he to win his second title.

World No1 has opted to skip the trip to Basel this weekend after already qualifying for the championships in Dortmund later this month.

Swiss Darts Trophy 2026 prize money

As with the other European Tour events, the prize money has increased this season:

  • Winner: £35,000
  • Runner-up: £15,000
  • Semi-finals: £10,000
  • Quarter-finals: £8,000
  • Third round: £5,000
  • Second round: £3,500*
  • First round: £2,500*
  • Total: £230,000

*Pre-qualified Order of Merit players will not be credited in the Order of Merit if they are knocked out here.

When is the Swiss Darts Trophy 2026?

  • The penultimate European Tour event will kick off on Friday, October 9.
  • All the action will come to a close with the final on Sunday, October 11.
  • Sessions will get underway at 12pm and 6pm BST throughout the weekend.
