NFF Awards Two-Year Contract to Super Falcons Coach Madugu

Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu has announced that he has received a two-year contract offer from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Madugu was appointed on a temporary basis last year following the resignation of the team's previous coach, Randy Waldrum.

During his leadership, the Super Falcons secured victory in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) held in Morocco.

The 61-year-old has also led the Super Falcons to qualify for the WAFCON 2026 finals after achieving a 3-1 aggregate victory over Benin Republic.

“I have been offered a new contract running from October 1, 2025, to October 1, 2027,” Madugu informed reporters following his team's triumph over Benin.

The contract is anticipated to be officially announced by the NFF in the coming days.
