Super Eagles goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie has been cleared of match-fixing allegations by Tanzanian club, Singida Black Stars SC, DAILY POST reports.

Obasogie was recently suspended for three months by Singida Black Stars following his suspicious performance in the club’s CAF Confederation Cup clash against Flambeau du Centre, as well as league fixtures against Pamba Jiji FC and Namungo FC.

After an internal investigation, it was discovered there was no evidence linking the former Bendel shot stopper to match-fixing.

“The incidents that raised concerns have been determined to be technical errors within the game,” the club stated.

The 26-year-old is now free to resume duty with Othmen Najjar’s side.

Obasogie joined Singida Black Stars last year after leaving Ethiopian club, Fasil Kenema.
