Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro will unveil his squad for the highly anticipated international friendly against Portugal next week. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Peseiro is expected to include his regular stars in the list.
There are, however, doubts over the availability of some of the key stars such as defenders Ola Aina and Zaidu Sanusi who both recently picked injuries while in action for their respective clubs.
Centre-back Semi Ajayi may, however, be included in the squad after returning to training at the Sky Bet Championship club, West Bromwich Albion.
On the website, thenff.com, the Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mohammed Sanusi, confirmed: “We have a friendly match against Portugal coming up in Lisbon November 17, Mr Jose Peseiro has compiled a provisional list and is only waiting for this weekendâs matches to submit his list of 23 players.”
The Super Eagles were last in action against the Desert Foxes of Algeria last month.
