MUM-OF-22 Sue Radford has been forced to give her 22-year-old daughter Katie some “tough love.”
In the most recent episode of 22 Kids & Counting , which will air on Channel 5 later this evening, viewers will see new mum Katie battle the early days of motherhood .

But after moving from a busy and very loud 11-bedroom ‘millionaire mansion’ to a poky flat, the brunette, who found out she was pregnant after being with Connor Carter for six years, was clearly struggling.
As well as dealing with night feeds with her “absolute dream baby” , Katie got candid on feeling “lonely” and her “regret” of leaving her family home.
Shortly after giving birth to her son Ronnie Hudson Carter , Katie and Connor moved into a small flat just two miles away from the safety net of Sue , 50.
And as Connor went back to work, Katie opened up on finding things “hard”.
She explained: “A baby takes up a lot of room, there just wouldn’t have been room in my mum and dad’s house for us all.
“Last night, he woke up every two hours…I don’t think anything prepares you for having your own, I didn’t expect this to be me.
“Connor went back to work today and it is harder, you’ve got to do everything yourself.
“It is a lot harder living on your own. At home you’ve got your parents and your siblings to help, whereas when you’re at your own place you’ve got to do it on your own.
“I wasn’t prepared for any of that – the loneliness .”
Clearly struggling with the huge lifestyle change, Katie , who recently rushed her now nine-month-old baby Ronnie to hospital and discovered he had shingles , admitted: “I do miss my mum and my dad.
“It’s so quiet, you’re kind of on your own.”
Later in the episode, just four weeks after Katie left the Radford mansion, a former care home in Morecambe, Lancashire , which is spread over four storeys, Katie acknowledged missing the hustle and bustle of her family home.
The mum-of-one, who recently broke her silence on her ‘split’ with the father of her child , explained: “It’s very quiet [at the flat], every little noise I hear I’m skitzing out.
“The other day it was really windy and it sounded like someone was trying to open my door. So I ran home.”

But this wasn’t the first time Katie flocked back to Sue ’s nest, as the family’s matriarch recognised: “She was coming round every single day, 8:30am and then not going back until 6pm – I think she was missing everybody.”
But eager to look forward, Sue felt forced to interfere and give her daughter some “tough love”.

The mum of Britain’s biggest family , 50, who had her first child at the age of 13 , shared: “Katie coming round to the house every day is not really gonna help her settle into being in the flat on her own.
“Trying to help her, there’s got to be a bit of tough love there.”
Whilst Katie was out on a stroll with Ronnie, she glanced at her phone and gasped: “My mum’s text – said I can’t come round today…that’s very strange.”
Following this, she confessed: “Some days I do regret moving from home.
