And Josh has revealed that Noel sent him a strange message after passing on the property.
Speaking on The Romesh Ranganathan Show, Josh explained: “[Noel] said something about how he’d left something under a floorboard or something.
“A treasure chest or something.”
“Were you tempted to look?” Romesh pressed his guest.

“No, I wasn’t actually, I wonder if it would be evidence if it was a body,” Josh quipped.
He went on to add: “I’m trying to distance myself from…”
“Noel Edmonds?” Romesh asked.
“Yes. And you’ve given me Mr Blobby mugs,” Josh replied, referring to the new kitchenware Romesh had gifted him as a house-warming present.
Noel – and Mr Blobby – were a staple of Saturday night on One for years, fronting the 1990s TV show Noel Edmonds’ House Party.
The show was set in a fake manor house in the fictional village of Crinkley Bottom.
Last year, Josh told his Parenting Hell podcast co-host Rob Beckett of his new home: “Just to be clear, it isn’t in Crinkley Bottom – it isn’t the house we used to see on Saturday nights on the TV.”
He also revealed that the wallpaper was pink and yellow when he moved in – the famed colouring of Mr Blobby.
Noel’s former house saw him embroilled in a legal matter in 2011, with one of his friends, who also worked as his builder.
Noel had sued the friend for issues concerning a different property, with the builder counter-claiming he had not been paid for work he had done on the house, then worth £1.3million.
Noel lost the case.
Josh is dad to two young children and has spoken about his reasons for moving to Devon, away from East London. He explained that the kids have more space in Devon.
