Lawsuit Against BBC

Former Strictly contestant Thomas Skinner is taking legal action against the BBC, asserting that the network manipulated voting to eliminate him from the show as swiftly as possible.

The ex-Apprentice star, known for his catchphrase “Bosh,” claims he has evidence that the BBC minimized his public support due to unfavorable media coverage.

Allegations of Rigged Voting

Thomas, 34, and professional dancer Amy Dowden ended up in the bottom two and lost in the dance-off.

He is opting out of tomorrow’s final, which will be the last for hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.

A source stated: “This is already from – now Thomas, a friend of the Vice President, is taking them on as well.”

Thomas was the first of 14 celebrities to be eliminated in the current series.

The judges’ scores from the first two weeks were combined with the results of a public poll.

The BBC does not disclose how many public votes each contestant received, and Thomas asserts he has evidence that his vote count was intentionally downplayed.

Negative Headlines

The BBC then revealed that his combined score placed him and his partner in the bottom two for the dance-off.

The pair, who accumulated 29 judges’ points over two performances, competed against ex-England rugby star Chris Robshaw and professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova, who had 30 points.

All four judges voted to eliminate Thomas and Amy.

A source shared: “Thomas is convinced he received a larger portion of the public vote and believes he has the evidence to support this claim.

“He is determined to pursue this, but there’s no doubt the BBC will vigorously defend against any allegations of rigged or fixed voting.”

Friends say Thomas feels the producers wanted him gone due to negative press coverage.

He is boycotting the event in which he was scheduled to perform in the Class of 2025 dance.

Co-stars are reportedly shocked by the aftermath, which casts a shadow over the departure of the hosts.

Currently, Amy Dowden and Karen Carney are competing for the Glitterball trophy.

Our source added: “Thomas was invited back but replied, ‘There’s absolutely no chance’.”

Thomas was making headlines for all the wrong reasons — a supposed right-winger seen cozying up to US politicians.

“He has been in heated discussions with producers ever since he was eliminated.

“He’s convinced the BBC was determined to remove him as quickly as possible, regardless of the support from his fans.”

The Sun understands that Thomas believes the BBC was becoming uneasy about his bookings.

The source added: “The BBC needed this year to proceed smoothly after the last two series were controversial.

“Thomas was in the news for all the wrong reasons — a supposed right-wing figure seen engaging with US politicians, and admitting to an affair was not the image Strictly aimed to project.”
