However, following the withdrawal of three of her co-stars, including La Voix, fears were raised regarding her condition.
To clarify the situation, Alex took to Instagram after the Sunday show, stating, “I want to assure everyone that I am completely fine.
“It’s just a minor injury… it’s all part of the process when dancing at this level. My loving daughter expressed her concern… that’s all.”
“I’ll be back on the dance floor tomorrow morning for rehearsals. I’m super excited for next week! Cha Cha Cha,” she added, including dancing emojis for emphasis.
Alex’s daughter, Salome Violetta Haertel, shared her worries on Instagram after Alex’s performance at Blackpool.
She commented on a video of Alex and Johannes’ performance: “So proud!!! They slayed the dance floor, dislocated rib and all!!!”
One fan quickly responded, saying: “Your mum is a superstar (you already knew that) – please send her my love and healing thoughts.
‘I really hope this doesn’t stop her from continuing – she has my votes every week!”
Another remarked: “She did incredibly well with an injury! I hope she recovers enough to keep going.”

While injuries are common due to the intense training, this year's Strictly has seen three contestants withdraw on medical advice.
One contestant left before the first live show after fracturing her ankle during early rehearsals with Nikita Kuzmin.
She had already filmed the launch show when the injury happened, leading to Amber Davies stepping in just days before the first live show.

Just a few weeks later another contestant withdrew due to a painful calf injury.
He was paired with Dianne Buswell and initially received a bye week in hopes of recovery.
As the show celebrated its annual Blackpool event, La Voix was noted to have sustained an injury and was also given a bye week for recovery.
However, by Saturday's live show, it became clear that she would not be able to heal in time and it was announced on air that she would have to withdraw from the competition.
This led to a shake-up in the show, with votes and judges' scores rolling over to the following week.
