Strictly star forced to pull out of live show hours before she’s due on stage telling fans ‘I’m deeply sorry’

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has been forced to pull out of a live show just hours before she was due to take to the stage.

The pro dancer took to to apologise to fans after being forced to make the heart-wrenching decision.

Janette is current;y appearing in a UK tour of and was due to perform to crowds at ‘s Winter Gardens this evening.

But in a written statement, she confirmed that she would no longer be appearing as originally planned owing to illness.

Writing to her fans, the performer said: “It takes a lot for me to miss a show, so to anyone coming to Blackpool tonight, I am deeply sorry.

“I am unwell and must rest to recover quickly and be back on stage.

“The cast is absolutely phenomenal so the show will be as magical as it always is.

“I’m on the mend now and hoping to be back ASAP.

“Love you all, Jxxx.”

Earlier this week, Janette shared her excitement to perform in Blackpool as she opened up on her connection to the seaside town - well-known for its long affiliation with ballroom dancing and Strictly.

Janette told the Blackpool Gazette : “Blackpool’s one of my favourite places in the UK.

“We go there every year with Strictly and it always lands around my birthday, so I’ve celebrated more birthdays there than anywhere else.

“Normally, I’m here in November, so to explore it in July is a real treat.

“I definitely want to take the cast to the Tower for afternoon tea and a dance.

“I’ve told them they have to see the ballroom with the big organ.”

Janette was recently forced to slash tickets for her tour with hubby Aljaz Skorjanec after failing to sell out any venues.

Tickets were offered with a whopping 80% reduction as the pair failed to cram crowds into theatre-sized venues.

Fans could nab a ticket for £15 for their London Palladium show through seat filler websites - despite originally being flogged for £88 on Ticketmaster.
