STRICTLY fans have been left devastated following the shock elimination of a favourite couple.
On Sunday night’s Halloween Week results show, it was revealed that Eastenders’ Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon were facing the dance-off once again, this time against model Ellie Goldstein and Vito Coppola.

There was only one point between them on the leaderboard on Saturday night, with Anton calling the dance-off a “battle royale” as it was so close.
Tasked with re-performing their routines, Ellie and Vito danced a Tango to Abracadabra by Lady Gaga, while Balvinder and Julian performed their Rumba to Stay by Shakespear’s Sister.
But when it came down to the judges’ vote, it was decided unanimously that Balvinder and Julian will remain on the show, with Ellie and Vito eliminated.
Shirley Ballas, who would have had this week’s deciding vote, noted Ellie was “outstanding throughout the whole competition” but would have agreed with the rest of her judges to save Balvinder and Julian.
As they said their goodbyes, Tess noted the close bond Vito has formed with Ellie both in front of and behind the cameras.
Vito said: “Honestly, there are no words I can use to describe how proud I am of you [Ellie] and you did really change my life so much. You made me such a better person.
“At the beginning of this year, I said to myself please, please, please can you send me a beautiful angel into my life? And now you arrived.
“I’ve never had a little sister but I always wanted one. Now, I have you and you’re my little sister forever, and your big brother is always by your side.”
As the pair vowed to continue dancing together, Ellie said: “I’ve enjoyed it so much! He is a kind person and he was the person I wanted from day one. You have been so heartwarming, thank you to you [Vito].”
Ellie made history on the show as the first participant to compete with Down’s Syndrome.
