STRICTLY’S Ross King was overcome with emotion tonight after a heartfelt performance as his girlfriend looked on.
The entertainment reporter, 63, felt disheartened after receiving the lowest scores from the judges last week.

In an effort to improve his position on the leaderboard with a waltz, Glasgow-born Ross and his professional partner Jowita Przystał traveled to Scotland for inspiration.
In his video segment, Ross expressed, “The first live show I had was disappointing; my little bit of confidence has been shaken.”
The clip featured Ross in tears during rehearsals before he and Jowita visited his hometown, Loch Lomond.
He shared, “I’m a very proud Scot. I had to move away for work, but I can always see myself returning.”
Ross emotionally conveyed that the area holds a special significance for him, saying, “There are so many memories tied to this place.”
“I think about my school friends, my sister, and I remember my mum and dad when I’m here. It’s a mix of happy tears.”
After a touching waltz to The Proclaimers' song "Sunshine on Leith," Ross was seen breaking down in tears at the conclusion of the performance.
He embraced Jowita and was visibly emotional as he wiped away his tears on the dancefloor.
This heartfelt moment did not go unnoticed by his girlfriend Bridget Siegel, 43, who traveled 5,000 miles from LA just to support him.
She was observed cheering in the audience as her partner received feedback from the judges.
With tears in his eyes, Ross told host Tess Daly: “I feel like I’m the poster boy for older men who can’t dance but want to dance.”
His voice trembled as he added, “I hope people see… if I can do it, anyone can.”
Bridget was seen beaming with pride as she cheered for her boyfriend.
Ross has previously spoken about his “lovely” girlfriend on the latest episode of Kaye Adams’ How To Be 60 podcast.
When asked if he planned to stay in LA, he responded:
“Oh yes, I love LA. Who knows what the future holds, but it would take a lot to pull me away from LA.”
“I adore the place. I have a wonderful life there, and I have a beautiful, lovely girlfriend, Bridget.”
“We have an amazing time together, so it really feels like home.”
The couple has been together for three years.
