“There is one comedian who has been really really horrible to me,” Josh recalled to host Kathy Burke.

After being urged to reveal the person in question, Josh shared the identity of the comedian who hasn’t been too nice to him in the past.

“Mark Lamarr,” he confessed, who is best known for appearing on shows Shooting Stars, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and The Big Breakfast.

Kathy said that Mark was notoriously “horrible about everyone” but Josh said it went further as he revealed “he was horrible to my face!”.

“I was backstage at Latitude Festival, and I walked over and he was stood… I actually didn’t realise he was stood there.

“He was with my agent. So I saw her and then I walked towards her,” Josh trailed off.

He then noted how Mark has a “reputation for being quite scary”.

“So I went over and I said hi, and I said, ‘Hi Mark’, he was doing God’s Jukebox, which was his DJing, and I said ‘I’m looking forward to God’s Jukebox later’.”

Josh then revealed Mark’s rude response: “I couldn’t give a sh*t mate.”

He explained how he simply replied: “Oh right,” before Mark bluntly added “Have you got anything else to say to me?”.

Reacting to the clip, which recently resurfaced on TikTok, one person penned: “How can anyone be horrible to Josh?”

“I suddenly feel very protective of Josh! How f***ing dare Mark Lamarr be so rude to him,” added another.

A third then claimed: “Mark Lamarr was horrible to me when I worked in retail. Really rude and dismissive.”

But others claimed it was merely part of Lamarr’s brand of humour.

“That’s not really horrible.. sounds very Mark Lamarr,” one defended, while another penned: “That’s class from mark tbf. Dead pan funny.”

Josh, 43, was confirmed last month to front the series of alongside and pro dancer .

The trio will be replacing long-running presenters .
