James 48, has blasted Strictly’s new presenting format and has begged and explained it doesn’t work.

Speaking to the Daily Mail , James insisted the hosting dynamic with three hosts is too much.

He said: “Two are enough. Why do you need three? I just don’t really understand it.

“Emma’s so good, she doesn’t need two people to share her job with. She’s doing less because she’s got to share.

“It’s just confusing for me, It’s just too much. Go back to two hosts on Strictly, not three.”

He added: “‘Josh seems to be forcing some humour into the show and it almost seems too scripted.”

However, he explained that he wouldn’t give his full opinion on

But it’s not just the new hosts that James thinks needs to be re-evaluated because he thinks some of the judges need to be replaced too.

He said: “I really do feel that the judging panel needs a bit of a freshen up because I don’t think it’s working anymore.’

“I’ll probably get called bitter for this, but I love watching the show.

“I think the show is amazing, but I do feel that the dynamic between them just seems a little bit scripted and disjointed.”
