“His life was full of love and dedication to the arts and his family. He will be dearly missed by many.”

Hibbert was born in Fleetwood in the UK and began building a television writing career in the 1980s.

In his early days, he worked on Late Night with David Letterman, before going on to pen several animated children’s shows during the 1990s.

He also contributed to scripts on shows including MADtv and Boy Meets World.
